    Smoothies For Gaining Weight

Gaining weight can be a difficult task for some people. It's easy to assume that eating more food will lead to weight gain, but sometimes it's not that simple. For people who struggle with gaining weight, high calorie smoothies can be a great way to add extra calories and nutrients to their diet.

Whether you have a super-fast metabolism (thanks genetics), a rigorous fitness schedule, or an underlying health condition that's caused you to have a poor appetite or weight loss, this nutrient-dense smoothie is the perfect for athletes looking to put on muscle while being healthy enough for your kids.

High calorie smoothies like this apple cinnamon smoothie can be a great way to add extra calories and nutrients to your diet. By using calorie-dense ingredients, healthy fats, and sources of protein, you can easily create a smoothie that meets your dietary needs. Smoothies are also easy to customize based on individual preferences and can be enjoyed at any time of the day. If you're struggling to gain weight, give high calorie smoothies a try and see how they can help you reach your goals.

    HOW TO MAKE

    1. Wash and chop the apple.
    2. Place apple, banana, oats, hemp seeds, peanut butter, oat milk, and cinnamon into a blender.
    3. Blend on high speed until the smoothie is smooth and creamy.

Enjoy! This recipe makes a delicious milkshake-like 16-ounce smoothie.

    SUBSTITUTIONS

    • Oat Milk - Feel free to use dairy milk, almond milk, or soy milk.
    • Oats - You can leave the oats out if desired
    • Hemp seeds - Hemp seeds add protein and fiber and are a great addition to this smoothie. Feel free to leave them out if you don’t like them or can’t find them in your grocery store.
    • Cinnamon - Cinnamon can be omitted or you could use apple pie spice, pumpkin spice, or chia spices.
    • Peanut Butter - Any nut or seed butter can be used.

    ADD-INS AND TOPPINGS

    • Top with peanut butter drizzle

    HEALTHY INGREDIENTS

Smoothies are an easy and convenient way to consume a lot of calories and nutrients in one go. They're also easy to customize based on individual preferences and dietary needs. With the right ingredients, a high calorie smoothie can provide a significant boost to a person's daily calorie intake.

    •  Apple
    • Banana
    • Peanut butter
    • Hemp seeds
    • Old fashioned rolled oats
    • Milk of your choice
    • Cinnamon

    HOW TO STORE

Apple cinnamon smoothies are best if you drink them soon after making them. The oats will cause your smoothie to thicken if stored too long. If your smoothies are thicker than you prefer, simply add more oat milk a half cup at a time or until your desired consistency is achieved.

CAN I ADD PROTEIN POWDER TO MY WEIGHT GAIN SMOOTHIE?

For a balanced meal replacement smoothie, consider adding whey protein powder, collagen protein powder, or a plant-based protein powder. For this smoothie, a plain or vanilla flavored protein powder works best. Simply add the recommended serving size, usually 1-2 scoops to the blender, and blend up with the rest of your ingredients.
