Notes

Smoothie Variations & Substitutions

  • Oat Milk - Feel free to use any plant-based milk (or dairy) of your choice. Almond milk, soy milk, and coconut milk work well with the mango flavor.
  • Mango Spinach Smoothie Without Banana - If you’d like to omit the banana but still enjoy a creamy smoothie, I suggest replacing the banana with ½ of an avocado or a ½ cup of plain or vanilla yogurt.
  • Frozen Fruit - Can’t find frozen mango? Fresh will work just fine! Or, swap out frozen mango for frozen peaches or frozen pineapple.

Optional Smoothie Add-Ins

  • 1-2 tablespoons of hemp seeds
  • This is a mango spinach smoothie without yogurt, but you could add a ¼-½ cup of plain or vanilla-flavored yogurt (regular or Greek).
  • For even more tropical flavor add-in ½ cup of fresh or frozen pineapple
  • ¼ cup of shredded coconut would not only taste great but add a bit more fat to your smoothie
